Charles, Oliver and Mabel are whisked to Los Angeles where a legendary film studio intends to adapt their podcast. However, Hollywood's glitz is overshadowed by a stunning clue about Charles' stunt double and friend Sazz Pataki.

Season four finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel wrestling with the shocking events at the end of season three surrounding Charles' stunt double & friend Sazz Pataki. Questioning whether Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, our trio's investigation leads them all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is readying a film about the Only Murders podcast. As our amateur sleuths race back to New York, they embark on an even more epic journey - traversing their building's courtyard to delve into the twisted lives of the Arconia's West Tower residents.

It’s astounding when you stop and realize that Only Murders in the Building first launched in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Since then, it's become a staple fixture, a must watch television event, which, in the glut of content in the midst of the streaming wars is a rare feat indeed. The fourth season of Only Murders in the Building proves that it’s still one of the very best shows on TV.

Picking up from the brutal cliffhanger of the previous season, Only Murders in the Building thrusts us straight back into the action and into the lives of our intrepid murder solving trio.

Building on the superb expansion of the Only Murders in the Building world from last season, the writer’s craft room for not only the characters but the environment itself to travel. Beyond it’s incredibly hilarious writing (it’s the funniest show on TV too by the way) and the murder sleuthing, at its heart, Only Murders in the Building is a character driven show.

And it doesn’t relent here either, the show continues to develop our three main characters, beautifully creating rewarding and challenging arcs. It’s also really hard to quantify it here, but Only Murders in the Building continues to create that homely, I never want this show to end kinda vibe. A lot of this is to do with the trio of Martin, Sheen, and Gomez, the Arconia herself, and the murder mysteries, but whatever it truly is, it’s a magic that you never want to end.
